Riding Mountain Learning Adventures

Learning adventures offer you opportunities to walk, photograph, learn from local resource specialists, and discover Riding Mountain and area in a very personalized way.  You'll have a chance to travel to off-the-beaten track locations, ask questions, and develop some personal skills.  Because you'll be in small groups (guide to participant ratios of 1:6),  you'll find that this is a great way for us to travel, see things, and do things that cannot be done with larger groups.

First Light Wildlife Watch

LENGTH: 3.0 - 4.0 hours

Morning is a great time for photography. Each season offers great opportunities to join resident photographer Celes Davar to travel together, look for wildlife, and receive tips on using your digital camera for nature shots, wildlife images, and morning light images. You will see the landscape through Celes's eyes. This is photographers' light - you'll leave joyful and inspired. We bring coffee or tea and snacks. In the winter months, we leave a little later because of light conditions.
